cocoex is an evolving social impact lab, a non-profit initiative rooted in the belief that art is a powerful tool for grassroots activation. For the 2026 edition of the Vinili Vinelli Festival, we are launching 'Stardust 002': a playful and experimental ecosystem designed to nourish the Terra Nuda rural residency project.
This isn't just an exhibition; it’s a mission to explore how futures are not only imagined, but enacted, through land, community, and collective purpose.

“Practicing the Futures”
Under the theme “Practicing the Futures,” we invite two artists for a two-week residency in the Tortona hills, alongside two local artists who will collaboratively shape a group exhibition during the two-day Vinili Vinelli festival. We seek bold, visually striking and spatially inventive proposals that connect artistic practice with active fundraising. How can your work create tangible value—financial and/or social—to sustain the residency’s future?
We encourage:
Site-responsive interventions that engage the landscape, architecture and local communities of the Tortona hills.
Participatory or “gamified” formats that invite meaningful audience interaction and generate measurable outcomes.
Use of regenerative, low-impact materials and processes that model sustainable practices and can be repurposed, sold, or otherwise leveraged to raise funds.
