Since its inception, La Luna has championed emerging artists, blending sound and visuals into a unified identity. Through vinyl and art, the label creates a unique harmony of storytelling.
Partnering with cocoex opens a space where music-inspired-art moves beyond emotion to drive real-world-impact honouring stories like the reflections on the war in Ukraine and the healing power of art.
The Artist
Silat Beksi was born and raised in Ukraine, where he developed a passion for electronic music during his teenage years. Immersing himself in the local underground scene, he was influenced by the minimal techno and house sounds that were gaining popularity in Europe.
This early exposure laid the foundation for his distinctive style, characterized by deep, hypnotic grooves and intricate soundscapes.
Silat first released on Wex sub-label, AHAAD back in 2018. Now for his second appearance on Wex, he joins the La Luna catalog with a mini LP focusing on downtempo and ambient music with a special dedication to his country, Ukraine.
Fundraise
Repair Together is a volunteer-based initiative supporting communities in Ukraine affected by war.
Since 2022, they’ve organized over 100 clean-up events, helped rebuild more than 30 homes, and mobilized 2,500+ volunteers.
The project combines physical reconstruction with cultural revival, including concerts and raves in liberated areas.
